During the years of working as a nurse, I recognize that I am the kind of person who likes to learn about different people. The time when I was appointed to work as a deputy of the head nurse was particularly challenging for me. At times, people think that marketing merely means sales and advertisement. However, advertising does not mean marketing. For me the task to understand or even predict the customer's wants and needs, and thus present them with the products suitable to their interest means more than profit maximization.As a Chinese native speaker, I am knowledgeable about my home country, its language, culture, customs, traditions etc. My graduation in bachelor of law enables me to understand and use the legal environment of this country. Due to my intercultural experiences both in Germany and in Ireland, I am conscious of the importance of communicational skills, openness, adaptability, and self-motivation. Besides, working as a nurse for several years gave me the opportunity to learn independence, sense of responsibility, team work, and problem solving skills. For me, learning is a life long process. After years of student life at universities, I now feel ready to put into practice what I have learned especially through my studies in economics at universities. I am interested in working in an international enterprise, which is expanding its business to the Chinese market. It would be particularly appealing to work for a German company since this is a country that I feel connected with. Since I am writing my thesis right now, which will take me several months to finish, I hope to find a position that suits my interest by the beginning of 2008. | |||||
